These are engravings g of views, antiquities, customs and ceremonies. These prints are primarily views of inhabitants of the South Pacific Islands, Russia, and Asia with a few from other areas. These were recorded by artists accompanying the voyages of Captain Cook and several other explorers of that time. A sample of the engravings is shown.
